Cornwall is home to some of the the UK’s most beautiful coastline, unusually the North and South Coast are a short journey apart so the options for a day out at the beach are endless.  For crystal blue waters and arguably one of the most stunning beaches in the UK, Carbis Bay is right on your doortstep with it only being a 3 minute walk away from your accommodation.  If surfing is on the agenda, then Porthmeor beach at St Ives is perfect for novices and experts alike or Gwithian which offers 6 miles of golden sands for you to chose your perfect spot.

A trip further West is however a must and very rewarding.  Sennen Cove which sits just North of Lands End is a 30 minute drive away, some of the best surf can be found here and at its neighbouring beaches - we will let you find the secret beaches close by!  Alternatively if you want a picture-postcard beach day, then head for Porthcurno which lies due East of Lands End on the South coast.  Dolphins, seals, basking sharks and other wildlife are frequently spotted here so don’t forget your camera!  We sugest you take advantage of the picnic hamper that you will find in your apartment, pack it with some Cornish pasties, snacks and treats and take to exploring the coastline.
